We live on a 200 acre farm in Northern Virginia. The farm is the main inspiration for many of my works, & I hope that trend continues. I love colors. I've been teaching myself the arcane magic of neural networks, machine learning, & I’m still learning every day. My digital photography is mostly veristic: Verism is the artistic preference of contemporary everyday subject matter instead of the heroic or legendary in art and literature; it is a form of realism. A Weekend of Sunsets opens onto a wall with three differently shaped windows. Each window looks out upon a different day's sunset. This work is an example of one of my major themes -- exploring the idea of collapsing multiple unique moments into a single moment or image.
